StatSheet is now projecting UNLV as a four seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Rebels are currently on track for an automatic bid, but don't need it to retain the invite as they're the #14 team in the AP Poll and sit at #10 in the StatSheet StatRank. They have a 22-4 overall record and a 6-2 record in the Mountain West.

During the last four games, UNLV picked up quality wins against AP #13 San Diego State and RPI #21 Colorado State and a win against Air Force but also dropped one against RPI #71 Wyoming.

UNLV is decent against top competition, with a 7-4 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 6-3 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 2-2 record against AP ranked teams. The Rebels boast six quality wins including AP #13 San Diego State, RPI #21 Colorado State, RPI #33 New Mexico, RPI #38 California, and RPI #37 Illinois with no bad losses.
