StatSheet is projecting UNLV to be a six seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Rebels are unranked in the AP Poll and sit at #27 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 25-9 overall record and a 10-6 record in the Mountain West.

During its last four games, UNLV got a quality win against RPI #21 Colorado State and a win against Air Force but also took on a loss against AP #15 New Mexico and a bad loss to RPI #118 Fresno State.

UNLV is stable against strong competition, with a 14-7 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 7-6 record against the RPI Top 50 but a 1-2 record against AP ranked teams. The Rebels have seven quality wins including RPI #21 Colorado State (2 wins), RPI #40 Boise State, RPI #28 San Diego State (2 wins), AP #15 New Mexico, and RPI #49 Iowa State. They also have two bad losses including RPI #118 Fresno State (2 losses).

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Alabama (21-12, 12-6 SEC, StatRank #60), Baylor (18-14, 9-9 Big 12, StatRank #61), Boise State (21-10, 9-7 Mountain West, StatRank #40), and Tennessee (20-12, 11-7 SEC, StatRank #58).

The first four teams out are Colorado (21-11, 10-8 Pac-12, StatRank #47), La Salle (21-9, 11-5 A-10, StatRank #50), Temple (23-9, 11-5 A-10, StatRank #44), and Wichita State (26-8, 12-6 Missouri Valley, StatRank #32).

The next four out are Florida State (18-15, 9-9 ACC, StatRank #81), Iowa (21-12, 9-9 Big Ten, StatRank #77), Maryland (22-12, 8-10 ACC, StatRank #72), and Virginia (21-11, 11-7 ACC, StatRank #75).
