UNLV Moves Down Three Spots to #14 in Latest AP Poll: Feb 6th, 2012

UNLV falls to #14, a drop of three spots in this week's AP Top 25 poll. The Rebels are one of two Mountain West teams in the poll, the other being San Diego State at #13. UNLV started off the week with a win at home over Colorado State, 82-63. That was followed by an upset loss at Wyoming, 68-66.

San Diego State moves up four spots in the poll following a week that began with a win at home over Boise State, 58-56. After that came another win at home against TCU, 83-73.

Kentucky remains number one for the second straight week. Louisville enters the Top 25 at #24 with a win at home over Rutgers, 78-66. Harvard comes in at #25 with wins against Columbia, 57-52 and Cornell, 71-60. Gonzaga falls out of the rankings this week with an upset loss at Brigham Young, 83-73 and a win at Pepperdine, 72-60. Vanderbilt drops out after losses to then-12th ranked Florida, 73-65 and Arkansas, 82-74.

Florida State is a big mover this week to #15 after a win at home over Georgia Tech, 68-54 and an upset win at home over then-16th ranked Virginia, 58-55. Creighton tanked four spots to #17 after a win against Illinois State, 102-74 and a loss to Northern Iowa, 65-62.
